Katie and the Women's Resource Center are organizing the volunteers for this first year:

The Women's Resource Center in Durango, Colorado, advocates for the personal empowerment and economic self-sufficiency of women and girls in La Plata County.

Since our humble beginnings in 1987, the Center has grown from helping 200 women in our first year to expanding the scope of our services and programs to assist more than 2,000 women, men, and children annually.

WRC’s Move with Purpose fundraiser is underway! Join Team WRC by committing as a pledge runner, walker or biker during the first annual Tour of Durango on October 11-12. Team WRC trains together and receives great incentives and prizes. Please call 247-1242 to sign up and receive more information.
